Shelves hold up to 400lb per shelf and a maximum 2000lb per stationary unit. This is generally adequate for most applications. Ideal for wet or humid environments, walk-in coolers, sterile areas. Shelf mats can be lifted off and removed for easy cleaning. Smooth surfaces easily wipe clean. Shelves adjust in 1″ increments so you can maximize storage space.

For greater air flow and light penetration, MetroMax 4 polymers shelves come with grid style shelf mats for greater air flow and light penetration. Removable mats are made in 6″ wide sections, so you can quickly and easily take the shelf mats off of the frames for cleaning. Many customers remove the mat sections and run them through a commercial dishwasher to save time and effort during the cleaning process. Post and shelf mats include built in MicroBan antimicrobial product protection providing an added layer of protection between cleanings especially in environments where bacteria growth in a concern such as hospitals, school, gyms and kitchens.
